  • 1/72 1930s de Havilland Dragon Rapide BEA
    The de Havilland Dragon Rapide was introduced in the 1930s as a passenger airliner. Shown here in British European Airways (BEA) livery. A twin engined aircraft with tapered wings and streamlined fairings, it proved to be fast and comfortable, and was a very successful commercial aircraft. The RAF used them for passenger and communications duties at the beginning of WW2 and, along with the Royal Navy, used slightly modified Rapides (known as Dominies) for radio and navigation training later in the war. A great wee model. Rotating props, and comes with a display stand. Approx. 14.5cm x 20cm (5.75" x 8").

  • 1/72 1940 Ju-87B Stuka
    The Junkers Ju-87 two seater ground attack aircraft of the Sturzkampfgeschwader 77 (StG 77) Luftwaffe dive bomber wing. Often called a Stuka, the short form of Sturzkampfflugzeug (dive bomber). The Ju-87 saw combat in the Spanish Civil War, with the Luftwaffe's Condor Legion, then served throughout World War II. Distinctive for its inverted gull wings and fixed undercarriage, the Stuka achieved considerable success in close air support and anti-shipping roles. Fixed, non-rotating propeller. No pilot figures.     Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero, the primary Japanese Naval fighter in World War II. This carrier-based fighter was highly manoeuvrable and armed with a formidable array of two 20mm cannons and two 7.7mm machine guns. Zeros were used in the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 and became infamous for their Kamikaze attacks on allied shipping later in the war. Iconic model.   • 1/72 Javelin FAW 9R XH892
    The Gloster Javelin is a twin-engine T-tailed delta-wing subsonic aircraft that served with Britain's Royal Air Force from the mid-1950s until the late 1960s. The Javelin was the last aircraft design to bear the Gloster name, and was the RAF's first purpose-built all-weather interceptor. FAW 9R's (R standing for "Range") were fitted to carry under-wing fuel tanks. Javelin FAW9R XH892 served with 23 and 64 Squadrons and is now on permanent display at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum Flixton, Suffolk, England. Approx. 24.5cm x 22cm (9.5" x 8.5").     The Sea Fury was one of the fastest production single piston-engine aircraft ever built, and entered service in 1947. Sea Fury's were used by a number of countries in carrier or land-based roles, and was the last propeller-driven fighter used by the Royal Navy.   • 1/72 1964 Bell UH-1B Huey, Vietnam
    117th Aviation Company, 52nd Combat Aviation Battalion, was one of the first Aviation Units to be deployed to Vietnam. Huey's of the 117th flew some of the first helicopter sorties of the Vietnam War. A name change to 117th Assault Helicopter Company, accompanied Ash and Trash, resupply, and Mede-vac Gunship escort duties. Diecast metal model, with plastic rotors. Approx. 16.5cm (6.5") long.   • 1/72 RAF Tornado GR.1 1990
    Panavia Tornado GR.1 ZA591/FN strike/attack aircraft of RAF No.16 Squadron, Laarbruch, RAF Germany. In an all-over black scheme to mark the squadron's 75th Anniversary, as seen at Mildenhall Air Fete, Suffolk, May 1990. Arguably the most distinctive scheme it wore during its extensive Royal Air Force service. The squadron was originally formed in 1915 at Saint-Omer France, and were a referred to as 'The Saints'. The distinctive stick man with halo logo was applied to many of the squadron's post war jets. Part of Corgi's Commemorative Service Withdrawal Collection. Approx. 24cm x 18cm (9.5" x 7").
